Hosting times each year

• March/April/May - 3 weeks
• July - 3 weeks
• Other hosting times will be added in future

Requirements

• Hosting of Thai children aged between 11 and 16 years old
• Possible to host up to 4 children per household dependent on space
• Child has own bedroom or can share with another child of same gender on our programme
• Host provides bed, breakfast, packed lunch, dinner each day
• Must be native English speakers

Our programme

• Everyday:
  Our Thai children are out on excursions everyday from 8.30am until 5.30pm

Responsibilities of our Host families

• To provide a safe, supportive and stable family environment
• Clean, comfortable room(s) with adequate heating and lighting, space for storing clothes
• To be at home in the mornings and evenings each day to give children their breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal
• Encourage the children to speak English as much as possible while in your home
• Treat the children as though they were members of your own family

• Access to shared bathroom and toilet facilities
• Able to wash some clothes once/week
• Provision of towels and bedding to be washed once/week
• Access to living areas and kitchen
• Must have WIFI

• Provide children with a balanced, varied diet: continental style breakfast, packed lunch, cooked evening meal, some available snacks also
• Responsible for supervision, security and safety of the children while in your home
• Responsiblity to ensure host family has sufficient home contents and building insurance to cover any accidents while children are in your home
